My newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home. I have found this is the perfect way to have your memories captured while still preserving that precious newborn bubble and allowing you and your little one time to heal and connect.
Using simple posing and natural light, we will create a gallery of images which best reflect the real version of your new family.
Simply your family, your memories, in the place you feel most comfortable.
You don't have to worry about a thing, I bring everything we need for the session with me!

We had a shoot with Katie a few months ago when my little girl was a few weeks old, it was an amazing experience! Being a few weeks postpartum I didn’t feel the most comfortable in front of a camera but Katie made me feel so at ease and confident!! The session was really easy going and relaxed, which was lovely with a new born. The photos are beautiful, would definitely recommend a session with Katie!

THE PROCESS
STEP 1
Getting in touch
When you're ready to go ahead, fill out a contact form and I will get back to you within 24 hrs.
Booking at least 3 months in advance is highly recommended.
You will receive a full pricing guide and further information on how to secure your space in my diary.
STEP 2
Booking you in
Once we have a contract signed and deposit secured, you will receive a welcome pack with all the information needed for our upcoming newborn photoshoot.
STEP 3
Our session
On our chosen date I will arrive at your home and set up my mobile studio.
During our session we will take as many breaks as we need to ensure yourselves and your little ones stay comfortable and relaxed. The session is completely baby led and I am able to adjust my work flow to suit your families needs.
STEP 4
Your gallery
In 2-3 weeks you will receive your private gallery via email.
You will be able to view your whole gallery and choose which 8 images you would like to keep or if you would like to, you can choose to upgrade your gallery.

I could yap all day about the things I love about photography and working with families, about the things I've learned in this business in the last 3 years and all the things I would love to do in years to come.

I'm Katie, perpetually tired Mumma to two little crazies.
I am here to meet you at any stage of motherhood, the highs and the lows, to be a listening ear or your hype girl; to hear your birth stories and give out parenting hacks.
I am invested in you and your journey because I have been there and I know just how fast this time with our babies flies by.

EVERY NEWBORN SESSION INCLUDES THE USE OF MY COZY INFANT WARDROBE. PIECES SPECIALLY CHOSEN FOR A BEAUTIFUL, TIMELESS GALLERY,
MOTHERHOOD WARDROBE HIRE IS ALSO AVAILABLE TO TAKE ONE MORE THING OFF OF YOUR PLATE.
FAQ
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! I am happy to chat with you about a payment plan that works best for you. Booking in advance is essential.
Where will my newborn shoot take place?
My newborn photoshoots take place in your own home! Have a look at my experience page to see what it looks like!
What should we wear?
Once you are booked in, you will receive guidance on clothing choices in your welcome pack.
The beauty of home sessions means if you need to stay in your pajama bottoms, you absolutely can. We will just shoot from the waist up!
When should I have my session?
Newborn/ infant photoshoots are best when taking place in the first 2 weeks after birth, however my newborn sessions are available for little ones up to 8 weeks.
How soon can I book?
You can secure your space in my diary anytime after your 12th week of pregnancy.
Booking at least 3 months ahead of your due date is highly recommended to ensure I can get you booked in.
How flexible is our session date?
You will receive a provisional session date when you book in, however I know all too well that babies come on their own timeline. I limit my bookings each month to remain extremely flexible for new arrivals.
Can I purchase more images?
Yes of course! Once you have received your preview gallery you are then able to decide if you would like to upgrade your gallery.
